Our hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive the information you include, such as your name, contact details, invoice reference, and description of your request. We use it to answer questions, provide support, investigate billing issues, and keep appropriate business records. Do not send passwords, full card details, or sensitive research-participant data.
Software, publishing, and payments
Guildbury and Journal of Sidequests process additional information needed to deliver their services. Service-specific privacy information is provided in the relevant application or publication workflow. Workshops using Guildbury remain responsible for the information they collect from their own members.
When you pay through Stripe, Stripe processes the payment information entered in its payment flow. We use the transaction and invoice information needed to administer the service and resolve billing questions.
Providers and retention
We use hosting, email, and payment providers to operate the business. They process the information needed to provide those services. Support correspondence and transaction records are retained as needed for the service, business records, legal requirements, and resolution of disputes. The company site itself has no customer database.
